About Stephen F. Lovich
Dr. Lovich completed his undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, in New York where he graduated Magna Cum laude, followed by internships in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California. He completed his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at the Mayo Clinic In Rochester, Minnesota in 1991 where he was awarded the Karis Award by the Mayo Clinic Foundation for “exemplary performance in demonstrating caring, respect, integrity and excellence in the delivery of patient care.” Dr. Lovich spent the next 12 years as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at David Grant Medical Center with special assignments as Director of the Craniofacial Board, and Medical Director of the Ambulatory Care Unit. Dr. Lovich has active staff privileges at Ashland Community Hospital, Rogue Valley Medical Center, Providence Hospital, the Surgery Center of Southern Oregon, and the Ashland Surgery Center. He is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, and Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is currently licensed in the State of Oregon. Dr. Lovich holds active memberships in the Jackson County Medical Society, American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and the Oregon Medical Society, and has performed all facets of plastic and reconstructive surgery including cosmetic, reconstructive, and hand surgery with an emphasis on natural results that make his patients look “better not different.” Dr. Lovich resides in the Rogue Valley with his wife and their 3 daughters.
