Benjamin Nelson, PT

Ben graduated from Oregon State University in 1996 with an Exercise and Sports Science degree. He completed graduate school at Pacific University in 1999 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. He has continued to be an active learner over he past 20 years as a physical therapist, and earned the credentials as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2013. Ben enjoys working with patient of all ages in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. His treatment approach is based off assessing functional movement patterns and identifying mobility and/or stability issues that lead to dysfunction and pain. He utilizes a combination of manual therapy (soft tissue and joint mobilization/manipulation), therapeutic exercise, and education to help his patients get out of pain and back to optimal function. Away from work Ben enjoys spending time with his family on the sports field or outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing.
