Derek Lawr, PT, DPT

Derek is originally from the greater Olympia, WA area and moved to the Portland metro region in December 2012. He earned his Bachelor's of Science from Washington State University while majoring in Kinesiology while also interning as a strength & conditioning coach for the varsity athletes. Derek went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. Derek has experience working with a wide range of patients including athletes, orthopedic patients, chronic pain patients, post-operative patients. Derek believes in the importance of consistent strengthening and exercise throughout life to maximize health, avoid injury, reduce falls, and manage pain.
