Kaneah Owen, PT, DPT

Kaneah Owen is originally from Astoria, OR and moved to the Portland area for school in 2015. She earned her Bachelors of Science majoring in exercise science with minors in psychology and French from Pacific University. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the same university and stayed in Portland to continue to enjoy the food and opportunities for outdoor activities. Kaneah has experience working with patients ranging in age from infancy to older adults and enjoys adapting treatments to fit the needs of each individual she works with. She has treated patients with orthopedic, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary conditions. She has experience in hospital-based and outpatient physical therapy settings with both chronic and recent injuries. Kaneah values collaborative care and giving those she works with the tools to optimize their movement and quality of life. She emphasizes independence and self-efficacy in her treatment style. She enjoys playing volleyball, cooking, and doing outdoor activities like hiking in her spare time.
