About Frank K. Jackson
Dr. Jackson is a native Washingtonian and studied biology at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Wash., graduating with cum laude honors. After his undergraduate education, he was a cellular biologist in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Research and Development. He integrated his love of science with his interest in spine and holistic medicine and attended Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz. Through medical school his interest in the musculoskeletal system grew, and he was introduced to Neuromuscular Medicine and Physiatry. He went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center. He trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Utah where he served as chief resident and received the Mark P. Scott, M.D. Outstanding Resident of the Year Award. Dr. Jackson's clinical practice focuses on brain and spinal cord injury medicine. He also has a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis and associated demyelinating diseases. When not caring for patients or teaching medical students from Washington State University or University of Washington, he enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors.
