Claire Cooper, MD

Dr. Claire was born in Missouri but spent a large portion of her childhood in France. She grew up visiting her grandparents in Lubbock, and when she and her family moved back to the States in 2007, Lubbock became her home. She graduated from Lubbock High School, then followed in her sisters’ footsteps and attended Texas Tech University where she studied Biology with minors in French and Chemistry. She obtained her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Lubbock, and is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Claire met her husband her fourth year of medical school, and they recently welcomed their first child. She is excited to be a part of the team at Leaps and Bounds Pediatrics as she is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
