Amanda Purser, DO

Dr. Amanda Purser is a pediatrician who has the blessing of caring for children of all ages. A compassionate and kind physician, she works hard to listen to her patients and their family's concerns in order to provide the best possible care. Dr. Purser completed her medical school at University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency with Texas Tech University of Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. During her residency she met and married her husband. They are excited to make Lubbock their home and raise a family here in West Texas. Dr. Purser enjoys building relationships with her patients and their families. She loves trying to be a bright light for them on difficult days but also cheering them on during their happiest moments. When Dr. Purser is not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, and attending Zumba classes. Other fun facts about Dr. Purser: She first said she wanted to become a pediatrician at the age of 3. She grew up in Pueblo, CO. Lubbock is the biggest city she has lived from a population standpoint.
