Omar Washington, MD

Omar Washington, M.D., was drawn to emergency medicine to help people in their greatest time of need. "I enjoy being in a position to help those from all walks of life," he says. "I am commited to improving diversity in medicine. I enjoy mentoring individuals with a passion for medicine." In his practice, Dr. Washington considers his most important role to be an educator for patients and parents, so all can make a shared decision about what's best for care and recovery. Dr. Washington earned his medical degree from the University of California at Davis and completed his residency and fellowship at Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Washington is board certified in emergency medicine. Born and raised in Northeast Portland, Dr. Washington is an avid Blazers fan. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
