As a strong advocate of vaccinations, I believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing I can do to keep your children and your community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. If you have questions or would like more information on vaccinations, call our office at (714) 577-6677.

Doctor knows our family very well, we have been seeing this doctor since 2007 from our Elder son and now my little. She always cares about the family well being. Talks about everyone and asks how everyone doing. During this visit she asked about Mom and big brother and everyone.

Marienelle Banez is not [Name(s)] primary pediatrician. This was the first time we made an appointment with Dr. Banez because we needed to see a doctor urgently. Our appointment was at 9:30, but we waited until 9:55, and she still hadn't come in. However, we kept hearing chatting and laughter from outside the room. I was feeling that we had waited too long, so I opened the door to inquire, and saw the nurse and doctor chatting. Only after they saw me did they slowly walk in. Due to time constraints, Dr. Banez only answered some of my questions. She seemed rushed and needed to go to the next patient's room. She made me feel unprofessional and disrespectful of the patient's time. I will not make an appointment with this doctor again and will not recommend her to family or friends.

The overall experience with the practice is very good. My kids have been patients of Dr. Banez for many years. Over the last few visits there seems to be a communication issue with Dr.Banez. The first being that I will give her the history of the medical issue at hand in great detail. After the explanation she will ask questions that about the issue that were already stated in the history that I gave her. Apparently she was not paying attention...not good. Another issue is she is quite condemning to us about any treatments that we provided for my child prior to the visit. This overall bedside manner toward me as a parent in front of my child is inexcusable. I am a retired healthcare professional and I know the importance of good bedside manner not only to a child patient but to the parent(s) as well. To this end, I am starting to look for a different pediatrician.

I love Dr. Banez. She always does a great job. I feel like she listens to what I have to say and is very respectful with her answers. She always gives me thoughtful advice on how to deal with my childcare and I always appreciate it. The office staff and nurses are wonderful as well. The nurse we had in our last visit who helped us with shots and everything was awesome. She was very responsive to the children had a bedside manner.
