About Maureen V. Villasenor
Dr. Villasenor's love of children started at a young age. Coming from a large family of twelve children she has always had a passion for caring for others. She grew up here in Santa Ana, California and completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA. She graduated with honors from medical school at Charles Drew/UCLA and completed her pediatric residency training in 2012 at Children's Hospital Los Angeles where she went on to serve as Chief Resident. As a mother of three young children, she understands the struggles that parents go through and loves helping parents learn how to make their children's lives as healthy as possible. She recognizes that every family is different and therefore adapts her practice to best meet the needs of each individual patient. She loves taking the time to get to know her patients and their families so that children will enjoy coming to the doctor and she can ensure her patients get the best care possible.
Please note, there is nothing more important to our providers than the health and safety of your children. As a strong advocate of vaccinations, we believe that ensuring the children who visit our office are fully vaccinated is the single most important thing we can do to keep your children and our community safe. If you choose not to fully vaccinate your child, another physician may be a better fit for your family. If you have questions or would like more information on vaccinations, please call our office.

Dr. Villasenor is one of the best pediatricians. She's been seeing my done since he was 4 months old. He's now 7. Hope to continue with her for another seven years.
Providence Patient
All the staff that works with Dr.Villasenor is very friendly and helpful. I was given all the information that I needed before I left my visit with my daughter and I had no other questions. Back office girls are always so helpful and excellent at what they do. They are very professional and always have a smile on their face!
Providence Patient
Dr. Villasenor Is absolutely amazing. She's charismatic, she's patient with my child who is neurodiverse, she explains things extremely well to him. We never feel rushed and always feelComfortable. She's the only MD that has ever made my child feel calm and at ease which was not the same with our previous provider. We have blue shield and are very worried about the recent notice of blue shield departing ways with providence. This will negatively affect my child and our family as we absolutely love the care and compassion of Dr. Villasenor and her team. I will be doing everything in my power to keep this doctor and not disrupt my child's comfort with his doctor.
