Rebecca M. Allen, MD

Dr. Rebecca Allen, M.D., FAAP, is Board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Originally from Boston, she graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in biological sciences. She completed her pediatric residency at Rutgers University in New Jersey, before moving to California in 2017 and, joined Coastal Kids in 2018 to be closer to her husband’s family and enjoy the year-round sunshine and friendly locals. Although she welcomes patients of all ages, Dr. Allen takes a special interest in newborn and early childhood pediatrics, the most rapid and critical periods for growth and development in a child’s life. Always prioritizing compassion and empathy, she works to get to know each patient’s whole family and use an individualized approach to preventative care and health maintenance. Dr. Allen currently resides in Huntington Beach with her husband and two young children where they enjoy biking, family yoga, swimming, and being outdoors. Special interests: newborn and early childhood pediatrics.
