Meena K. Tanwar-Ahuja, MD

Dr. Meena Tanwar-Ahuja joined Premier Pediatrics in July 2017. She grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas. She received her Bachelors from U.C. Berkeley and then went on to pursue her Ph.D. from the University of Texas-M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Cancer Biology. She received her M.D. from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and did her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Arizona. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has practiced General Pediatrics since 2012. She speaks Hindi and medical Spanish.

She moved to Southern CA a few years ago with her husband and 3 children. She loves spending time with her family, watching and playing football, volunteering at her children’s school, reading great books and dancing.

Dr. Tanwar has a passion for preventative medicine. She also spent several years working in Urgent Care Pediatrics and takes caring for your sick children very seriously. She believes in providing the care, support, and attention to help your children thrive.
