About William B. Parks
Dr. William Parks is a Board Certified Pediatrician with 40 years’ experience in healthcare. Originally from the west coast of Florida, Dr. Parks came to Eureka from The Woodlands, Texas in 2015. For the last 5 years, he was Chief Medical Officer for St. Joseph Health Hospitals in Humboldt. Dr. Parks has over 22 years of pediatric office-based experience with a strong background in well baby and well childcare as well as behavioral, developmental and attention-related pediatric health concerns. Dr. Parks has been married to his wife Debra for 40 years. They have seven children. He enjoys gardening, growing orchids, bird watching, hiking, model rocketry, puzzles and bible study.

I appreciate the time and thoughtful attention we recived. My son has a pediatrician and a specialist. I wish the provider we saw would have responded to my concern about altering medication prescribed by the specialist with collaboration rather than offering to override the existing prescription. Changing medications may be the best course of action, but I would like the team of my pediatrician and the specialist to discuss before changing my son's medication.
