Valery B. Sampson, OTR/L

Valery Sampson is an occupational therapist at Providence Children's Developmental Institute. She graduated from The University of Puget Sound in 1989 with a Bachelors of Science and completed the occupational therapy program. She has been employed with Providence since 1990 working in inpatient, hand therapy, pediatric home care, NICU and pediatric outpatient. Valery has always enjoyed working with people of all ages. She has always had a passion for horses and has been able to bring her occupation as an OT and her love of horses together. She is able to provide a specialty service of OT using horses which is called hippotherapy. Currently she also specializes in feeding therapy and general pediatric OT needs at the Newberg PCDI site. Valery has 2 children and lives on a farm where she enjoys gardening and taking care of her animals.
