Dr. Atul Poudel is a board certified General Pediatrician as well as a Pediatric Nephrologist, providing compassionate yet decisive care to patients and families for common General Pediatric care and complex kidney issues. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and completed his pediatric training in New Jersey and Florida Dr. Poudel has more than a decade of experience taking care of General Pediatric and Pediatric Nephrology patients. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and completed his pediatric training in New Jersey and Florida. He has been in practice for more than 10 years. He has previously served as Medical Director of Pediatric Dialysis at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, Fresenius Dialysis, Baton Rouge, LA. He is a recipient of the James Morrill MD Continuity Clinic Award for Excellence in Ambulatory Care from Mount Sinai School of Medicine/St. Joseph`s Children’s Hospital and received the Henry A. Kokomoor Award from the University of Florida Department of Pediatrics. In his spare time, Dr. Poudel is an avid runner and enjoys traveling internationally and spending time with family.
