Carrie L. Corwin, MD

I grew up in a medical family, but what drove me to pursue a career in medicine and pediatric endocrinology was my personal experience with type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 14 and I am dedicated to educating patients and families about how to be healthy and live life to the fullest, whether they have diabetes or any other endocrine disorder. Having a positive attitude and adequate medical support are keys to success and I am here to help my patients succeed in achieving a healthy body and a healthy mindset. Carrie Corwin, MD is a board-certified pediatric physician, specializing in endocrinology. From diabetes to puberty disorders, she offers health care to children with all types of endocrine conditions. Her clinical interests are in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as thyroid disorders. One of her greatest privileges has been serving as a medical team member at summer diabetes camps. Away from work, she enjoys reading, horseback riding, traveling and swing dancing.
