About Vladimir B. Fiks

I am Board Certified in Anesthesiology and also hold two board certifications in Pain Management. I completed pain management fellowship and anesthesiology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. My practice includes both medical and interventional pain therapies. I also firmly believe in the restoration and/or maintenance of physical and mental abilities as part of the recovery from illness. Therefore, I am committed to providing patients with additional tools such in-house physical therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to ensure achievement of their treatment goals. I like to help patients overcome their ailments and find the challenges of comprehensive pain management fascinating. I appreciate the opportunity to participate in a patient’s care and am touched by their victories. I avidly pursue continuing education, not just in pain management but also in other areas of medicine as well, as I believe a broad-based understanding of human diseases and their treatment will best help my patients.
