Jennifer Wingate, MD

Dr. Jennifer Wingate joined Geneva Woods Ear, Nose and Throat in 2002. She earned a degree in biology at the University of Alaska, Anchorage prior to attending medical school at the University of Washington. Before embarking on specialized training in otolaryngology, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine. She completed her Otolaryngology residency at the State University of New York in Buffalo, and she completed a one year residency in otology at the Lippy Group for Ear, Nose and Throat in Ohio. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Wingate was the one of the first ENT surgeons in Alaska to perform the implantation of the Bone Anchored Hearing Aid and now offers both the BAHA and Ponto. During her time away from the clinic, Dr. Wingate enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters. She also enjoys skiing, swimming, biking and cooking.
