Dr cummings was amazing he put me at such ease and I felt he really had what was best for me at the forefront .The only person will I wasn't overly impressed with was the emergency admitting lady she was brisk with us and a bit unkind to be and my sister-in-law . But hood river hospital is always my first choice so I try to give accepting tgat it was a very busy day lots of accidents and they were stressed but it is the first person you have contact with and compassion should be at the firfeint in that area .

I broke my femur at the hip socket entrance and Dr Cummings installed three screws successfully stabilizing the big bone. The follow-up appointment was very informative.He knows his hockey, too.

So happy for this provider was able to provide up-to-date, minimally for invasive surgical procedure here in the Gorge. Very happy with the results so far!!

Fully trust their advice, super helpful

I was impressed with Dr. Cummings..when he saw me in the ER for a fractured leg he told me honestly that he did not do that type of surgery and that I needed a trauma surgeon..I appreciated that honesty so much. And then he offered to do my follow up care here in town in Hood River so I would not have to travel back into Portland. I feel so lucky to have met him in the ER initially the day of my accident.

This was for a broken bone, many of these questions do not apply. However, I found Dr Cummings to be quite helpful, he listened, informed and shared xray results.
