Jeffreys D. Albright, MD

Dr. Albright decided at a young age that he wanted to ski at Dartmouth College, study medicine and become an orthopedic surgeon. Over time he accomplished all three goals. One reason Dr. Albright moved to Oregon was for the outdoors. He is an enthusiastic skier, snowboarder, windsurfer, surfer, stand-up paddleboarder and mountain biker who competes on the North American Windsurfing Tour. Quite a few of his windsurfing and skiing friends have ended up as his patients, including top-tier athletes, and they appreciate the insight he brings as a competitive athlete who also happens to be a top-notch surgeon. Not all of Dr. Albright's patients are professional athletes. Most are regular people with everyday injuries. He prefers to pursue non-surgical options first and use surgery only as a last resort after learning as much as possible about the injury and its effects. If surgery is needed, he is experienced in everything from routine arthroscopy to full hip replacements. Dr. Albright and his wife have three girls who are all young ski racers. They travel frequently as a family.
