Jenniefer Y. Kho, MD

Jenniefer Kho is a board-certified orthopedic trained hand surgeon who treats conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She is a southern California native who has traveled across the country to receive comprehensive training. She attended University of California, Berkeley for undergraduate studies where she majored in Biochemistry. She obtained her medical degree from University of California, San Diego. She spent five years in Iowa City where she completed orthopedic surgery training at University of Iowa, which is well-known for orthopedics. She completed additional upper extremity fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kho practiced in the Central Valley for three years at Sutter Health before moving back down to southern California to be closer to family. She works alongside two other hand surgeons at Valley Hand and Orthopaedics, A Professional Medical Corporation. The main office is located in Sherman Oaks, with additional satellite offices in North Hollywood and Santa Clarita. Common conditions she treats are carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, arthritis, tendonitis, fractures of the upper extremity, nerve and tendon lacerations, cysts, tumors, and occupational-related injuries.

She takes pride in treating each patient as individuals and tailoring care to one's specific needs and complaints. She truly cares about each and every patient. She believes in non-operative management of most conditions, and will only recommend surgery if indicated. She is up-to-date on new technologies, but understands that new is not always better when it comes to medicine.

Dr. Kho enjoys spending time with family and traveling when she is not working.
