I thought Dr. Haight was an exceptionally competent professional. She was articulate, clear spoken, easy to understand, provided reliable (I checked medical websites for verification after my visit) answers to my questions. I gained confidence about my upcoming surgery because of my assessment of her and the initial consultation.

Changes occurring at present. Prior years only one appointment made. This time I had to have an x-Ray appointment prior to doctors. E-mailed pre-registration which I did. X-rays delayed so wondered about doing them this new way as I had to pay for my transportation to appointments. My care has been excellent through this and 3 other surgeries so maybe old way they were doing x-rays better.

I have spread the amazing Surgery results, an now She's booked fast , for her schedule, Last week waiting for Pt, an All of Is had surgery by her , we all agreed she's gift ,an caring , was able to ask about knee surgery!!Four

Dr. Haight and her team treated me cordially and with respect. I did have to wait a long time in the exam room before being seen.

I felt like she was in a hurry to leave the room.

Dr Haight was communicative and easy to speak with. I had a right hip posterior arthroplasty. Previously, I'd had a left hip anterior arthroplasty. Because the muscles aren't cut during the anterior operation, in my experience it is a far less painful surgery to heal from because the thigh muscles we're separated, not cut during the operation. In six days, the pain was controllable with extra strength Tylenol. For the posterior approach, four major muscles we're cut, and I had to take hydrocodone for 42 days. In my antidotal experience, the anterior approach was seven times less painful and the post operation recovery period was much shorter. I'm hoping there is some professional comparison that proves empirically that the anterior arthroplasty is superior, so many future patients can be spared the additional pain and slower recovery period. Dr Haight was sorry to hear this, which made me think very well of her.

I am in process of getting a diagnosis about pain. Whether it is caused by hip or back problems and also was referred to a pain specialist.Dr Haight answered all of my questions and indicated that it was probably a back problem rather than a hip problem. I asked her about using an upright walker and she said that it could be a good thing for more mobility. It is. I also had some concerns about the timing on a test she thought I could do and a test by another doctor. She gave me good advice via My Chart and I'm following that advice. I felt as though she was listening to what I had to say. The office staff was friendly and courteous. While I hope that I don't need to see her again (who wants to need treatment), I would feel comfortable and safe in her practice. I hope she stays in Humboldt.

I noticed on My Chart that some of the results of lab tests she had ordered were considered out of normal range. I wish I had remembered to ask her about those. She didn't make reference to them. So we both must've forgotten. But otherwise, she's very attentive & though.

I am so glad to have Dr Haight in our community. She is an asset for sure. My knee needs to go from a partial to a complete replacement but I am a heart transplant recipient. I wish we had better cardiac care in this area! Every time I get a quality cardiologist they leave! I'm not sure it will be safe enough to have my surgery here at St Joseph's even though I trust Dr Haight to do an excellent job on my knee. If things so south with my heart, which [Name(s)] doesn't expect, I'm not sure I would be safe.
