About Lora Sherr
Lora Sherr is a skilled and compassionate physical therapist with a diverse medical and educational background. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology from UCLA and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of Southern California in 2003. With extensive experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, Lora has treated a wide variety of patients, from adolescent and college athletes to older adults focused on improving balance and mobility. Lora’s expertise includes advanced training in manual therapy techniques such as the McKenzie and Maitland methods, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, taping techniques, Pilates, women’s health, and breast cancer rehabilitation. She takes a holistic, individualized approach to treatment, empowering patients to actively participate in their recovery and long-term well-being. Whether assisting patients in returning to recreational activities, recovering from surgery, or regaining the ability to enjoy everyday activities like gardening, Lora uses her deep knowledge of anatomy and her passion for wellness to help each person achieve their goals and live pain-free. Outside of her clinical work, Lora enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping, reading, traveling, and attending live music events.
