Robert R. Russell, MD, DMD

Dr. Robert Russell was raised in Beaverton, Oregon and graduated from Beaverton High School before serving for two years as a missionary in Argentina. He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University, where he twice received the Garth L. Lee Undergraduate Teaching Award for his work as a chemistry student instructor. He returned to Oregon, earning a DMD at Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He was also the recipient of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for outstanding achievements and performance in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He graduated in 2003 with Honors. Texas became home while Dr. Russell earned his MD at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, and completed a residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. His residency included training in general surgery, anesthesiology, trauma, neurosurgery, and all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Russell has returned to the Portland area to join the practice of Drs. Humble and Richmond. He currently lives in West Linn with his wife and three children. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and outdoor recreational activities.
