About Erik M. Richmond
Dr. Erik Richmond graduated from OHSU School of Dentistry with honors in 1990. He completed a one-year General Practice Residency at OHSU Hospital, then went on to the University of Michigan, where he completed a residency in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Returning to Portland in 1995, Dr. Richmond served as an associate in a Portland practice for two years before joining the practice of Dr. Brian Humble in 1997. Drs. Richmond and Humble welcomed Dr. Russell to the practice in 2009. The doctors divide their time evenly between their offices in Gresham and Oregon City. Dr. Richmond is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of both the Multnomah and Clackamas Dental Societies. Each year he gives lectures to the greater Portland dental community on the topics of treating medical emergencies in the dental office, and dental implant planning and treatment. Since 2010 he has volunteered half a day a week supervising and teaching third and fourth year dental students at OHSU’s outpatient oral surgery clinic. Dr. Richmond lives in Portland, is married with two children.
