Angineh Almasi, OD

Education: Dr. Angineh Almasi received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), participating in the CLEK research study at UCLA Stein Eye Institute. She earned her Doctorate Degree in Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2010. Awards: Dr. Almasi has received numerous awards including Clinical Letters of Excellence, Dean’s Honor List for Academic Excellence, Honors at Entrance, President’s Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award, and leadership awards. Specializations: Dr. Almasi is an optometric physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, retinal disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She is experienced in co-managing pre- and post-operative procedures like LASIK, PRK and Keratoconus. Professional Experience: Dr. Almasi completed externships at Bridge Builders in Dallas, TX, San Diego Naval Base Medical Center, and University of Houston. She provided primary eye care, contact lens services, and managed patients with various ocular diseases.
