Thomas Tang, OT

Thomas was born in Roseburg, Oregon. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors in General Science: Pre-physical therapy. Prior to being accepted in graduate school, Thomas worked for Providence as a rehab aide for over a year. He then attended Emory & Henry School of Health Science where he received his Masters in Occupational Therapy. Thomas returned to Providence as one of his 3 month internships at Providence Bridgeport Sports Rehab specializing in hand therapy where he gained experience in fabricating orthotics and upper extremity rehab. Prior to graduating from Occupational therapy school in 2020, Thomas had a rotation at James H.Quillen V.A working with Veterans, where he gained experience working with post-surgical shoulder diagnoses. Thomas joined the Providence family in 2021 working at both St.Vincent and Tanasbourne rehab clinics. Thomas enjoys hiking and weightlifting. He competes in powerlifting competitions around the PNW.
