Michele T. Quinn, MD

Dr. Quinn was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergraduate degree in chemistry, where she was honored with the Cameron Morrison Fellowship. She went on to Duke University for her masters’ and medical degrees, as well as her OB/GYN specialty training. While at Duke, she was an Alpha Omega Alpha member and received several other honors, including the Golden Birkenstock from the Duke midwives.

Dr. Quinn enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and feels privileged to care for pregnant and birthing women. Her objective is to provide women the resources and tools they need to achieve their birthing goals, whether that includes medical pain management or an un-medicated labor and delivery. Outside of pregnancy, she works with women of all ages to optimize their health and quality of life through appropriate preventive care and treatment. She is a minimally-invasive surgeon trained in hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and robotic surgery. Dr. Quinn is also a fibroid specialist knowledgeable about the entire spectrum of treatment, from medical options to non-invasive procedures, minimally invasive fibroid removal and hysterectomy.

Outside of work, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, crime novels, spending time outdoors and knitting. She and her husband have a teenage son.
