About Nicola S. Rotberg
Nicola S. Rotberg, M.D., earned a Master's Degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1990, and graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1995. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1999, and has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2003. During residency under the tutelage of Marvin Grody, M.D., an early pioneer in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, Dr. Rotberg received excellent mentoring and training in surgical gynecology, emphasizing vaginal hysterectomies over open abdominal techniques. The foundations of her training have since shaped her management style seeking to achieve maximum surgical benefit through the least invasive methods possible. She places a great emphasis on nutrition and prevention, compassionately woven together with lifestyle modification as the underpinnings of a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Rotberg has been part of the Hillsboro community, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care for twelve years. She is thrilled to open Grapevine Women's Health and Gynecology to channel her energies specifically on gynecology and overall women's health from adolescence through menopause and the later years.
