About Jeffrey Penikas
To Jeffrey Penikas, M.D., his most important role as a physician is to keep patients well informed and guide them through what for many is unfamiliar territory. In his practice, he emphasizes preventive care. "It is very important to me to keep the patient an active participant in his or her care," he says.
Dr. Penikas received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York. He also completed his internship and residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Penikas was born in Albuquerque, N.M. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, running and participating in an occasional marathon.
