Amy L. Mulcaster, DO

I received my doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I went on to complete an obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. John Detroit Riverview Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, serving as chief resident my final year. Originally from Michigan I relocated to Oregon in 2008. After completing my residency training in Michigan I practiced there for four years, my husband and I were looking for an adventure and decided to move west. We now have two children and are enjoying raising them here with all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. As an advocate for women, my commitment to my patients is to provide them with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health. Focusing on gynecology has allowed me to offer a full range of care to women including assisting in contraceptive needs, optimizing reproductive health and helping to guide women through the menopause transition. I offer a full scope of both medical and surgical treatments for menstrual problems, pelvic disorders, urinary issues, family planning and menopause treatment in addition to routine preventative care. The Portland Clinic is a great place to practice because it provides me the opportunity to meet my patients needs and rely on an excellent team of doctors to provide my patients with all of their health care needs. My time away from my practice is spent with my children and husband. We love to do beach trips, walks in the park and exploring new places to play! I also enjoy golfing, traveling to visit family in Michigan, baking and reading.
