Amanda L. Beery, MD

Beery is a life-long Alaskan. She grew up in Anchorage where she lived above her parents’ furniture store. She attended University of Hawaii at Manoa and University of Washington where she earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cell biology. In the years between undergraduate and medical school, she worked in fine dining and in maternal-child health epidemiology for the State of Alaska. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Beery’s special interest include low-risk obstetrics, sexual health for women of all ages and family planning. Dr. Beery enjoys life with her husband, which generally includes some combination of singing, hiking in the summer and skiing at Alyeska.
