Yiping Li, MD

Dr. Li is a double fellowship trained endovascular as well as open cerebrovascular and skull base neurosurgeon in the Department of Neurosurgery at Providence Sacred Heart. Dr. Li completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Department of Neurological Surgery where he also completed a fellowship in Endovascular / Interventional Neurosurgery. He then received his open cerebrovascular and skull base fellowship from Stanford University. Dr. Li's practice focuses on the treatment of vascular and tumor pathologies of the brain such as cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, cavernous malformations, moyamoya, stroke, carotid disease, meningiomas, glioblastoma, metastases, among others. Dr. Li also mentors medical students and residents at Providence Sacred Heart and is an adjunct faculty / clinical instructor with the University of Washington Department of Neurological surgery. Dr. Li has been invited to speak at many local as well as national and international conferences, has authored over 50 articles and book chapters, and has even been featured on the "Doctors" TV show for discussing treatment options for Moyamoya disease.
