Very excellent care provider

Dr. Patel is exceptionally respectful, I'm thankful he has the experience and education to help me. He took interest in my health history. Of course this was my first visit with him. Dr. Patel's office staff are through and emit a welcoming friendly atmosphere.

When I called Swedish I was looking to schedule a second opinion but I didn't know which direction I needed to go due my past brain surgeries and very complex health history. I wish I could remember names and I hope you can look them up as they were all fantastic who helped me! So compassionate and caring!! I could NOT believe that being a new patient that I could be seen writhin one week!! That's unheard of ! After leaving from seeing Dr. Patel, he explained things in a way that I understood and I feel there's a clear plan of care for answers. I am so glad I came to Swedish for a second opinion and am transferring my care!! I haven't felt this kind of care in a long time.

Excellent surgical experience with Dr. Patel

Dr. Patel is the third spinal surgeon I've seen about my injury. The other two surgeons introduced themselves while walking past me to a computer where it was clear they were looking at my records for the first time without even looking at me. Dr. Patel looked me in the eye and shook my hand and made feel like a human being. It was evident he had already reviewed my medical records. He addressed every question I had. He discussed surgical options not previously suggested by other surgeons. I did not feel rushed during my appointment in any way.

I like Dr. Patel. I feel he is very knowledgeable about my condition and listens to my questions and concerns. He is my Neurosurgeon at swedish, not my primary care provider. So some of these questions do not apply to our situation.

I was rescheduled in a timely manner which I appreciated. A plan was chosen and acted upon in the same manner. I have confidence in Dr. Patel.
