About Lauren L. Bennett
Dr. Bennett is a licensed and board certified clinical neuropsychologist (PSY31041) who provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and cognitive rehabilitation services for individuals 12 and older with neurological disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, medical conditions, and comorbid psychiatric disorders. Her clinical interests include traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative diseases, vascular disease/stroke, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and the relationship between psychological and cognitive symptoms. Dr. Bennett earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles. She completed her training at several top-tier institutions, including UCLA (pre-internship), Children's Hospital Los Angeles (pre-internship), and University of Maryland/VA Maryland Healthcare System (residency). Dr. Bennett completed a two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship, specializing in sport neuropsychology, at the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas. Dr. Bennett is the author of numerous publications centering on cognitive changes secondary to various neurodegenerative diseases and the long-term cognitive effects of repetitive head impacts in sports.
