Dr. Manek has always Alene exceptional care of me. I had a new DBS battery installed in my generator. Dr. Manek had it programmed from me so that I have perfect steadiness in my hand that suffered essential tremors. He is always concerned about my wellbeing. A great provider of care.

Dr. Manek was gentle and kind with my elderly mother. He spoke directly to her and overcame her severe hearing loss by sitting in front of her and speaking clearly, repeating as necessary to ensure she understood. He encouraged her to accept uncomfortable decisions regarding her prognosis, and offered suggestions to make things easier. He also worked with me as her POA to ensure I was comfortable and that I understood her needs. I'm so glad he's her doctor.

Dr. Malik is absolutely an expert in neuroscience. He is able to translate this knowledge into terms that his patients can understand.

Dr Manik is the best I was having problems for years and no one would take the time to get to the root of the problem. He sent me in for test and bloodwork and found that my vitamin B was off and that I had disc in my neck and back causing all my pain. The surgeon would not call me back he got on the phone and I received a call from him that day. I can't show enough appreciation for the care he gave me. He also doesn't sugar coat things he will tell you the way it is.

In the past three months, I have met with two new doctors on my health care team. In April, I was introduced to my new general practitioner who referred me to Dr Manek. I found my initial appointments to be positive and thorough and both doctors were very easy to talk to. I'm looking forward to working with both of them.

Dr Manek is dedicated to his patients and their health. I was sent to him for Essential Tremor and he saw something else in my gait and ordered an MRI to discover I had MS. If not for him I am sure my life would be much more difficult. I am incredibly grateful he is my neurologist and I trust him and his opinion totally!

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Manek to my friends because he is a specialist in Parkinson's and related diseases. But for me he is a great help. I feel heard and understood. He is wise and experienced in this field. I am grateful to see him every 6 months.

I find this doctor thorough, thoughtful and eager to address any and all questions/concerns that I may have. He puts me at ease with his calming demeanor, which helps me communicate the issues I'm experiencing.

Dr Manek is the physician who diagnosed me with Parkinson's. I go to several classes in the Spokane area that have other Parkinson's patients of Dr. Manek. Every one of them has nothing but good things to say about Dr. Manek. He is understanding, tells you exactly what the issues are and what to do to try to maintain a healthy lifestyle and being infected with Parkinson's.
