It's been very difficult, not having a Parkinson's doctor to call my own. Dr. Khemanis office was nice enough to squeeze me in at the end of his day because I'm in such terrible pain 100% of the time. He is an angel for seeing me. I put Dr Khamani's care and attention to my specific circumstances at the very top of my neurological care and I've seen multitudes of neurologists in the past 40 years. He asked me how my tremor affects my ADLs and which debility is the most consequential to my life. NOBODY has asked me that before. He then drew up a chart with potential treatments across the top and my specific symptoms on the side with known percentages of treatment for each modality. Again, NOBODY has ever done this for me and it is extremely useful in helping me decide on potential treatment options. I certainly hope Swedish treats him well as most of my movement disorder neurologists here don't seem to stick around very long. Can't say enough positive things about Dr Khamani's knowledgeable and respectful care!
