Good experience - I appreciated Dr. Lupu because he took enough time to explain the MRI scan to me to make sure I understood it.Bad experience - The waiting time for an appointment with a neurologist was more then 6 month (new patient)?

It was an initial appointment and could not have gone better

This was the first time in 20 years I felt like a neurologist listened to me. Dr. Lupu spent a lot of time with me. I really appreciate him listening and not dismissing my pain. My only complaint is it was an 8 month wait for this appointment.

Dr Vitalue Lupu, MD has been my primary Neurologist since long before he moved his practice to Providence. He is absolutely the BEST! He is very knowledgable, listens attentively and explains his thoughts well. He also includes me in decision making about the course of my healthcare. Dr Lupu is very soft-spoken and sweet. I totally trust him to provide excellent care for my nearly lifelong myriad of neurological conditions. I live in Washougal and still choose to drive to Beaverton to see him rather than switching my care to a different provider.

Dr. Lupu is extraordinary, very kind, extremely knowledgeable, and very attentive. My condition has improved to the point where future visits are not necessary.

Dr. Lupu was very attentive and kind, he described exactly what he was going to do every step of the way and what sensations I would feel. He asked me questions to distract from the discomfort of the nerve conduction test, and was very efficient.

Dr. Lupu could not have been more informative as it relates to how I present neurologically, and what diagnoses are probable in my particular case. He was very personable and paid close attention to my litany of myriad symptoms and has formed, for the present, a diagnosis In my case. This is good to know. Dr. Lupus was very thorough with my EMG, and I'm sure the information will be helpful to the treating physician. He answered my questions when I asked him in a way I could understand. I appreciated his pleasant manner.

Dr. Lupu administered a 2 hour test. Nerve conduction studies were performed on both arms and both legs. Concentric needle EMG was performed on right arm and left leg. I asked questions about the equipment and also about what each segment was meant to show and Dr. Lupu was very forthcoming and shared information openly.

Having MS, which for me is an "invisible illness, I really appreciate the time Dr. Lupu spends with me. Sometimes my concerns are just the aging process. He takes time to explain to me what is happening within my body. I leave feeling comfortable/safe with my body and the fact that I do have MS.
