About Maddie L. Singer

Dr. Maddie Singer is a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuromuscular disorders, including neuropathies, myopathies, and neuromuscular junction disorders. She completed medical school at Oregon Health and Science University, neurology residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ, and a neuromuscular fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. She practiced neuromuscular neurology at the University of Pennsylvania before moving back to Portland. Dr. Singer focuses on forming collaborative relationships and making shared decisions for patient care. In addition to providing compassionate clinical care, Dr. Singer is involved in clinical research. She also enjoys teaching and has an interest in health advocacy for LGBTQ+ patients and other minorities. Dr. Singer enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and exploring nature. Mt. Hood has a special place in her heart, as she and her wife married there in 2020.
