Lauren R. Brown, AGPCNP

Lauren Brown, RN, BSN, NP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in care for people with ALS and related conditions. Lauren spent five years as a nurse coordinator with our ALS Center before pursuing her nurse practitioner degree. She is now a provider on the team. Lauren works closely with the other ALS providers as well as a multidisciplinary team from rehab, nutrition, pulmonary care, and more to ensure patients and families have the tools they need to live well with ALS. Lauren also led the development of a unique series of educational videos, in partnership with the ALS Association, known as Providence ALS Bootcamp. These videos teach families and caregivers of people with ALS how to address some of the specific care needs that may arise during the progression of the disease.
