Dr Bertschi is a more than qualified neurologist. She pays attention to the patient as much as possible but with screens, all providers get distracted by the computer. She is a good listener. She explains as much as is asked. I still don't have all the answers for my seizures and I know this happens in neurology, I am a PA. I believe the treatment plan for me at this time is logical. I am comfortable with her as my needed specialist at this time. And just a general comment for the whole Providence system, ALL your providers seem to feel rushed ALL the time. Give them more time for each patient, yes, less money but better patient satisfaction and less provider burn out.

The Doctor went very fast. Some of the questions were asked at a very fast pace, I am kind of left wondering if I answered them correctly. The Doctor is very nice and polite so this is probably more my fault for not slowing the pace and thinking through the answers.

Waited more than an hour after scheduled time. Relieved she had obviously read all my previous test results and reports and had recommendations. Glad I am a med professional myself, it was a whirlwind appt. I know neuro. Dr's are in short supply and she is thorough and well-prepared for a first visit.

Dr Bertche was wonderful - smart and kind. She explained my baffling stroke directly and warmly. I felt confident with a possible prevention path forward after meeting with her. She makes a terrifying situation understandable and something that now I feel more confident moving forward into my next appointments with cardio and pulmonary. I absolutely recommend her!!
