About Mohsen M. Pirastehfar
Dr. Pirastehfar is board certified in Neurology & Vascular Neurology/Stroke at Saint John’s Health Center. He completed his internship at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD, residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Vascular Neurology/Stroke fellowship at University of California, San Diego.
He is interested in acute stroke care especially in young adults, stroke prevention, stroke management in patient with intracranial vascular abnormalities, dissection, brain aneurysm and stroke without clear cause.
Dr. Pirastehfar has been involved in different clinical trials as sub investigator and has done multiple researches in the field of acute stroke care. His work resulted in authorship and co-authorship of several peer reviewed articles which have been published in various medical journals. He has also had multiple presentations at international stroke conferences.
