Daniel C. Brooks, MD

Dr. Brooks is a neurohospitalist at Providence Saint John's Health Center, treating patients in both the emergency room and in the hospital. He completed medical school at The Ohio State University, medical internship, and neurology residency at Yale University / Yale-New Haven Hospital, and then a fellowship in stroke / vascular neurology at Monte¬ore Medical Center in New York. Prior to joining Providence Saint John's, Dr. Brooks was an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Yale Department of Neurology and Chief of Neurology and Co-Medical Director of Stroke at Bridgeport Hospital, part of the Yale-New Haven Hospital Health System. Dr. Brooks has authored multiple articles and book chapters focusing on stroke and treats all neurological conditions affecting hospital-based patients, including (but not limited to) stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, headache, confusion, and weakness.
