Dana L. Moussalli, AGACNP

Dana considers her most important role as a provider to be "a professional and reliable resource to help patients understand their diagnosis and navigate treatment options, while considering their quality of life." Dana's experience working as an inpatient staff nurse for 8 years involved long shifts caring for patients recovering from chemotherapy and radiation, or undergoing treatment for life-altering diseases. This compelled her to become a nurse practitioner so that she would have a greater platform to advocate for patients and help them reclaim a sense of hope. Now, as a provider in the Providence Neuro Oncology Program, Dana values the opportunity to "help patients work through their fear of physical regression and dying, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and treat not only patients’ diseases, but the patient and their family as a whole". Dana was born and raised in Michigan. As an outdoor enthusiast, she was glad to move to Oregon and has enjoyed running, biking, snowboarding, and most recently surfing.
