Haris F. Murad, MD

Dr. Haris Murad is an experienced kidney and pancreas transplant nephrologist. He received his medical degree from Aga Khan University in Pakistan, after which he completed his Internal Medicine training at The Cleveland Clinic, OH. His passion for nephrology then led him to pursue Nephrology and Transplant fellowships at Yale University. As an attending, he first worked at Barnes Jewish hospital’s transplant center where he was also the medical director of their paired kidney donation program. He then returned back to Pakistan as an Associate Professor to help set up a state of the art kidney transplant service at his Alma mater in Aga Khan University. Now that Pakistan has a world class kidney transplant program and is well on its way to start a transplant nephrology fellowship, Dr. Murad is returning to the U.S., as the medical director of kidney transplant in Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. When not at work, Dr. Murad loves to cook and enjoy the outdoors hiking and enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
