About Tariq Shah

Dr. Tariq Shah is a Nephrologist in Los Angeles, California. He completed his residency in internal medicine at SUNY in New York. His successful career began early when he was elected chief resident and awarded Best Resident. Dr. Shah went on to train at UCLA’s Nephrology and Transplant programs. His Nephrology training has been broad-based–he has served as director of kidney and pancreas transplant programs and has been actively involved in teaching medical residents, fellows, pharmacists, and nursing students. In addition, he is a professor at Western University College of Pharmacy in Pomona, California. Dr. Shah is a highly experienced physician who specializes in the care of patients with kidney disease, including those who require kidney transplantation. He is known for his expertise in the management of complex cases, and for his commitment to providing personalized, compassionate care. His commitment and involvement in research and education and has led him to publish extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals.
