Joanna O'Leary, M.D., focuses on movement disorders and general neurology. She earned her medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, Ill., and completed her internship, residency and fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She has gone beyond the primary reason I see her (botox injections) and has provided analysis and medication for essential tremor and also, at my request, referred me to a physical therapist to address mobility issues in my neck. Sent her an update via text in my chart as to side affects that did appear with this last increased dosage. She responded the next day to let me know we can adjust the dosage before next visit In December.

This visit felt rushed; Dr. O'Leary seemed brusque. I left with a completely different impression of my condition and its solution than my primary care provider read in the notes she received from this visit. It is a difficult Parkinson's problem and probably has no solution, but I didn't feel any compassion
