About Gail C. De Imus
Dr de Imus is a board-certified Mohs Surgeon of the American College of Mohs Surgery. She completed her 2-yr fellowship training in Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She established the first Mohs Surgery clinic in the Everett/Mukilteo area where she has served patients for over 20 years, completing more than 20.000 Mohs surgery procedures. Dr de Imus is also board certified in Dermatology with additional training and specialization in Laser Surgery & Cosmetic Dermatology. She completed her residency at Boston University/Roger Williams Medical Center. Dr de Imus currently serves as the Mohs surgeon and Director of the Mohs Lab of the newly established Providence-Swedish Dermatology & Skin Surgery Department. She specializes in the treatment of Skin Cancer and shares our mission of serving our patients with compassion.

Excellent. Dr de Imus took a biopsy from a fairly innocent-looking mole that had enlarged slowly for years. It came back positive for melanoma, so Dr. De Imus removed it. She has been carefully monitoring it for any return of melanoma. She has wonderful bedside manners and is a lovely lady.

I was referred to Dermatology by a physician from Swedish Mill Creek whom I saw for a couple of chronic conditions. She ordered several tests and suspected that I needed to see a dermatologist for a facial lesion which had not healed over a period of five months. Dr. De Imus is the physician who has begun treating me for skin cancer. While none of us look forward to undergoing medical procedures, I must state that Dr. De Imus has been awesome. From her first introduction to me, it became clear that she was an expert in her specialty and explained her suspicions in easily understood terms, took several biopsies, then indicated that lab results would be addressed with me when they became available. And follow-up she did, with a personal phone call. Not only is Dr. De Imus very experienced, but she is extremely professional, calm, reassuring, and exhibits delightful interpersonal skills.

Dr Gail C. De Imus is extremely good and knowledgeable. She Is personable, friendly, and skilled. If you can just get to her! I had to wait two months to see a primary doctor who then put me in the general que (non-urgent cyst) making it another two months or a four month wait for a rapidly growing cancer over my eye. When she walked in the door she said "that's cancerous and has to go", she and her staff saw to It that all the work required to remove that and to identify and remove six others got Into place and added to the schedule.
