I was inspired to become a midwife after I experienced my first midwife-led delivery more than 10 years ago. It was an awe-inspiring event, and I gave up my career as a massage therapist to pursue midwifery instead. Joining Kaiser Permanente was the opportunity I'd been waiting for since I started working in health care. I trust the organization's care delivery model for myself and my family. As a clinician, I'm excited to impart that same level of trust to my patients. My goal for patients is for them to be educated enough about their care to be confident about making the right decisions for their health. Pregnancy can come with lots of questions. I want patients to understand their pregnancy and delivery choices as an active participant in the process. I am especially interested in patients health, LGBTQ care, maternity care, contraception/hormone management, and teen care. I love the connection that I get to make with people in my community while providing them health care.
