About Julia M. Curren
"I see women as the change makers in their families and communities. I became a nurse midwife because I was called to work with women during pregnancy and childbirth, a time ripe with possibility and potential for change. I strive to provide holistic maternity care, tending to the physical and emotional needs of expectant mothers and providing them with the information they need to make the best decisions for their health and well being."
Julia grew up in Florida and has lived in the Pacific Northwest for more than 15 years. Although she loves the area, she likes traveling to more tropical places whenever possible. She enjoys time with her husband and two young children, looking for the best swimming holes, cooking and dancing.
